My mom paid excess baggage for all my paper shit. Ain’t that nice?

Last night, I tried to jog around my aunt’s house. Um. I think you call it exercise. But this afternoon? I easily gave in to junk food. That’s why I’ll forever stay this way.

I want new friends who live here in Manila. The problem is, I really don’t get out of the house unless I really need to. My time’s running out. I promise to do something tomorrow.

Awkward family picture is awkward

Oh. I just saw this. Ain’t it creepy?

Updates

1. I’m currently using my Auntie Nenet’s laptop to browse the Web today. I’m here in my aunt’s house where we (my sister and I) will enjoy her house (and the cable TV and the aircon and so much more) for ten days before returning to Tondo where my father is recuperating. This certain area of Pasig where my aunt lives and Tondo are worlds apart when you try to compare them. I won’t comment now but I think I’ll be writing about their differences as soon as this vacation is over.

2. I was disappointed when I didn’t see a Booksale (my go-to bookstore) branch in one of the upscale malls in Makati. I even got lost looking for Powerbooks. It was my first time to visit one and it was like a cozy National Bookstore. I ended up buying Wes Craven’s Fountain Society .

I was skeptical about it at first because of the cover (it features a hologram on the front which is of a man’s head) and the author. But when I started to read it, it had the typical first chapter a mediocre medical thriller would have. I’m not done reading it so I think I’ll post the complete review when I’m done.

3. My grandfather’s (my dad’s father) 82nd birthday was awesome.

4. I hope I can buy at least ten books here in Manila before going back home to Cagayan de Oro city. That’s actullay my ultimate goal for this trip.

5. I was surprised by my father’s weight loss. He lost so much flab in 4 months because of his stroke. Makes me want to want one too.

6. I finally savored Aling Belen’s Palabok after 5 years. Bad News: She died a day before April started. Good News: Her recipe’s still the basis for her Palabok.
I didn’t stop oohing in delight until the 5th spoonful.

7. Manila changed dramatically since I’ve been here 5 years ago. I was shocked to see the towering corporate buildings and gigantic malls specially in Makati. I have yet to see Libis’ Eastwood and Pasay’s SM Mall of Asia.

I’ll post more in the following days. Pardon my grammar friends. I just knew that when I don’t read for two weeks, my brain ruins my blah blah blah.

Correct my mistakes. Comment on my opinions.

Fuck. Just. Please. Someone help me. Please. Oh fuck. Call my phone (+639059237873) or something. Please. Oooooh. Please. Please.

Books I’ve Bought this Week:

Michael Crichton: The Terminal Man, Jurassic Park

Robin Cook: Seizure, Harmful Intent, Mortal Fear

H.G. Wells: The Time Traveller

Carl Hiaasen: Double Whammy

264.00 PHP=6.14668 USD

Fuck! I can’t seem to find any free Michael Crichton e-book. I’ve been scouring the Internet for an hour already. FUCK! (Rage Mode)

I’m working on my next blog entry. It’s gonna be a rant. Oh Yeah.

Charice looks like a cheap lesbian prostitute run over by a truck.

Oh. I forgot. MY RIGHT LEG IS NOT PERFECT ANYMORE. FUCK YOU PHYSICS.

Lewis Black is breaking my leaving slap marks on my lap.

Also, I saw a teenage god on Facebook. I. Must. Be. Him.

Some Things

Let’s open this post with one of the funniest posts I’ve seen recently on 9GAG.

Oh, stupid me...

 1. I spent almost all my money on books. I can’t believe that my favorite bookstore will be displaying an Isaac Asimov classic. HE’S ISAAC ASIFUCKINGMOV.

Books I’ve bought recently:

Carl Hiaasen

Sick Puppy

Tourist Season

Nature Girl

Michael Crichton

The Great Train Robbery

Next

Isaac Asimov

Foundation and Empire

Larry The Cable Guy

Git-R-Done

William Wu

Isaac Asimov’s Robot City

Robin Cook

Coma

Marker

C.S. Lewis

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew

2. We’ve been enjoying the sweet final weeks of our high school existence. We reckon that college’s going to be brutal and merciless. I hope we’re wrong.

3. I’ve been downloading a lot of albums lately. Maroon 5. Sara Bareilles. Some K-Pop artists and Lenka.

4. Earlier today, while we were hanging at he mall, we encountered an old hag. She got angry since one of my classmates was blocking her oh so precious way. I warned my classmate already to stand aside but I think she didn’t hear it so she didn’t react until the old wench scolded my mate in front of a lot of mall-goers.

She even boasted that she was once a principal. Way to go witch.

After a few minutes, my classmate stormed out of the mall fuming.

5. I’ve been informed by the cashiers at Booksale that a lot of my schoolmates have been shoplifting. And what’s worse, they steal kiddie magazines. That’s how fucking pathetic it is. Fuck. I’m ashamed of my schoolmates’ choice of reading material to risk their dignities for.

6. For the past few weeks, I’ve been playing VBA. I didn’t have a GameBoy before so playing the most famous games are a little exciting than I expected. I’m playing Pokemon, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Harvest moon: Friends of Mineral Town, and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Let me finish this post with another awesome post from 9GAG.

Nikola Tesla is a boss, I gave that b*tch

That’s Tesla by the way.

(Grammar mistakes? Please correct. Comments? I don’t give a flying fuck.)

I’m going to bring two spares today in case the red one’s too geeky for me.

Maroon 5’s fucking awesome.

While I take a bath, Maroon 5 songs will be my background music. Oh?

Blah

I’m having a hard time composing an introduction for my new blog entries. I haven’t the foggiest idea why.

I’m going to Wordpress. I don’t know when I’ll do it since I’m a notorious procrastinator but I’ll try as soon as possible.

Sara Bareilles is really perking me up. She’s one of the best singers of this generation. Her style’s different from what you’ll usually hear when listening to the radio. Her singing style is relaxing and easy to listen to. Her lyrics are really good and catchy. She’s the absolute best.

I now have a total of eight Michael Crichton books. I broke my buying guidelines just to accommodate him. I’m really enjoying his masterpieces. I even met a generous lady on Facebook who sent me her paperback of Michael Crichton’s Timeline. I’m almost done with it and I can say that it’s really non-stop action.

Its modern technological advances and theories are in bed with medieval warfare and life. I’m greatly indebted to that nice lady. Thank you Victoria for giving me the opportunity of reading the greatest literary foursome ever.

My journal’s pages are not going to be filled with more rants anymore. I’m not that good with routines.

I’m composing a blog entry about my views on life. I’m really having a hard time writing the introduction. Should I struggle to write one or fuck it anyway?

My high school education’s about to end. I’m not ready to leave my school yet. I’m still having so much fun.

My room’s now the perfect example of domestic chaos. It has no organizational scheme whatsoever. I can’t even use my bed anymore since my books found their new home atop it.

I’m going to spend my vacation in Manila. Specifically in Tondo and Pasig. I hope I can buy cool books there. I saw Booksale stores with the size of our house there. I won’t go home without 5 books from Manila. I’ll make sure of that.

Got something to say?
